Discharge of any firearm will be on designated ranges only.
Safety: Safety is the first concern of everyone! All standard safety practices will be observed at all times. The club reserves the right to add or change rules to properly maintain safe ranges.
Due to insurance stipulations, use of the shooting ranges is open to members and their guests only.
The outdoor ranges are open to any member from sunrise to sunset, except if the hall is rented. You can see the rental schedule on the "Calendar" page above.
There is no hunting on club property at any time.

Pistol and Rifle Ranges
Discharge of any firearm will be on designated ranges only. Safety is the first concern of everyone! All standard safety practices will be observed at all times. The club reserves the right to add or change rules to properly maintain safe ranges.
50 Yard Pistol Range:

Pistol Ranges are intended for small arms only. Handguns of all types are approved for use on pistol ranges.

Permitted shoulder fired firearms are limited to 22 cal. rim fire and shotguns with ammunition up to and including slugs. No clay targets are permitted on the pistol ranges. Paper targets only. Steel targets permitted for special organized events.

All shots must strike the bottom half of the backstop.

Rapid Fire: Is defined as one pulling the trigger as fast as possible is NOT allowed at any time by anyone!
100 and 200 Yard Ranges:
-
No skip, bounce or cross range shooting by anyone.

No one will handle firearms with people down range.

No foot traffic on backstops. No mining of lead
-
No fully automatic weapons allowed
-
No prone shooting at targets closer than 50 yards
Outdoor Range Overview
This is an overview of the outdoor shooting facilities, which includes:

Hand Trap Area
The hand trap area is the area between the skeet houses, shooting towards the woods. Hand traps are devices designed to throw clay targets by hand or a mechanical device.

Trap and Skeet
The club offers organized trap, skeet and 5 Tower/Duck Stand on Tuesday afternoons year round. Shooting begins at 4:00 to 7:30 PM, weather permitting.
Sunday shooting is also offered from March through mid December, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM.
There is a per round fee with punch cards available.

Shotguns only in this area

Target type ammunition, 3 dram or less, shot size 7 ½, 8 and 9 on Trap and Skeet Fields only

No field (hunting) loads or slugs, or any kind of buckshot.

Pattern Board for target loads only 7 ½ shot or smaller

Clay targets only on the hand trap area
-
All shooting will be in a southerly direction

Only used when Trap and Skeet Fields are not for open shooting
-
No mining of lead

Indoor Ranges
The club has an indoor range that is used for winter .22LR pistol and archery leagues.
These ranges are only available during scheduled events as access to the building is not available to individual members.
